Greg and I settled in today with our latest housemate, Harley. He is a Black Mouth Cur, a muscular dog originally bred in the southern USA as a hunting and cattle dog. Although he's a large dog, he's very gentle. As you can see from this photo, where Greg is fussing over him, he'll have no problems training Greg while we're here.
You may remember that when we were in Mexico we adopted out the rest of the sheep we'd brought with us. So, when we arrived here yesterday, Greg managed to adopt the two you see in the photo below. Given that we're now living in Scottsdale, (one of the cities of the Greater Phoenix area), what do you think he named them? Yup, Scott and Dale. There seems to be a trend in his name choices!
With their bunny slippers, I assume they are Easter sheep. Maybe they'll find new homes by then, so that they don't have to travel back to Canada with us.
Yep! He's a BIG dog! He'll take you on a walk. (those sheep are darling ;-)
