Our theme song should be The Beatles, "Hello, Goodbye"

If you don't understand my title, chances are you're too young, or not British, or just don't get my sense of humour.

On the Ellen DeGeneres Show, a 19-year-old was asked if she knew who Paul McCartney was, at which point she said "He played in the band Wings, didn't he?" When Ellen asked if he'd played in any other band, she didn't know. Ellen was stunned.

So, for those who may not know, the song "Hello, Goodbye" was sung by The Beatles back in 1968. Here's a colourful YouTube video (subscribers, please go to the original blog to view the video). Oh, that's Paul McCartney on the left, by the way.

So, Greg and I are following in their likeness, by being "The Beatties, Goodbye, Hello". First, our names are so similar - Beatles, Beatties. Also, with our house sitting we tend to say goodbye to one and hello to the next. Hence it should be our theme song ... get it now? Don't worry though, there'll be no singing involved!

Tomorrow we will move from our current house sit, in Peoria, a city in the Greater Phoenix area in Arizona, to our next house sit, in North Mountain, another area of Phoenix. We are returning to a home where we house sat more than once last year. As much as we hate to leave Fanci, we will enjoy spending time with "The Three Amigos", as I call them.

So, Fanci, goodbye for now. The two photos below, with one of the Christmas gifts we gave her, were taken 24 hours apart. What a difference a day makes!

And hello again, to Shiloh, Zena, and Jake. We're looking forward to seeing them again!
