In the grand scheme of things - kids and dogs, that is!

I recently mentioned that we've been on the road for two months. For those who've been following this blog from the start, you may remember that in the December 8th post I introduced you to our newest grandchild, and first granddaughter, Soleil (pronounced "so-lay" - it's French for the sun). Here's Greg the day before we left, when she was just two days old.

Generally, after a 4-month trip not much has changed when we return home, but that won't be the case with Soleil. We received some photos of her today ...

So, what will she look like in another two months? Who knows, but we'll have to reintroduce ourselves, that's for sure!

We also have three grandsons - Kurtis (12), Gavin (10), and Kai (6) - but you won't get to meet them today.

I'll end by introducing our three grand-dogs ...

Someday we'll start socializing with people again, but for now we are mostly volunteer dog-whisperers!
