Soaking up the sea air in Mexico

Today is our last full day in Cholla Bay, as we travel to Phoenix tomorrow. We'll start a 10-day house and pet sit for the owners of this Mexican home. As much as we've enjoyed our time here, I'm looking forward to being back in the Phoenix area.

We went into Puerto Peñasco this morning and had a late breakfast at the Kaffee Haus, a great little European restaurant that has great reviews on TripAdvisor. Once again, TripAdvisor came through for us.

The view from the port - La Cholla behind the hill on the left,
the condo high-rises on the right, and fishing boats in between.

We then went to the fishing port area and walked the Malecon (seafront), where we faced the many vendors with their food, drinks, and souvenirs. There were very few tourists around today. The area has seen better days, but hopefully its glory days will return if cruises bring more people to the area.

I'll finish with some photos at Cholla Bay ...

Contented seagulls ...
... until Greg came along!
This hermit crab was probably happier too ... before Greg came along!
¡Adios (again), Mexico!
