Snowplows are a common sight in winter in Canada, but not here in Mexico. When we heard a familiar rumbling sound on the street today, we had to go check it out. Turns out it was a road grader, levelling out our sandy street. After the grader went by we were left with sandbanks at the end of the driveway, similar to the snowbanks we get from the snowplows
. A little touch of home ... but much warmer here (around 70ºF today)!
So, remember the theme of this blog ... have sheep, will travel? Well, the remainder of the sheep who accompanied us on this trip, along with another (named Valentino) who was adopted at a store today, packed their bag and left home. Today we drove in town until we found a church with a school, spoke to the teacher in my limited Spanish, and donated the sheep with some clothing and shoes, for those in need. I'm sure they'll be adopted by children who will give them lots of love. Here they are, anxiously waiting to leave home.

We return to Phoenix at the end of the week. When we were there last, Greg almost adopted a sheep at TJ Maxx that, because of its size, needed a seat all to itself. No doubt Greg will be back there soon, looking to see if he's still up for adoption. The travels continue!
Nice looking flock.
